Plastic Material Finishes
Transparent
A process that sands and coats transparent plastic surfaces to enhance optical clarity. Suitable for parts where transparency is critical — such as lens covers, windows, and display panels — as well as optical review prototypes. Not suitable for opaque materials or parts with complex internal structures where uniform sanding is difficult. Minor dimensional changes may occur due to the polishing process, and deep scratches or internal bubbles may limit achievable transparency.
