Plastic Material Finishes
Dyeing
A process where plastic parts are submerged in a dye solution to color the material from within, preserving the original surface texture without adding a paint film. Suitable for parts that need color while retaining surface texture, or precision parts where color is needed without increasing coating thickness. Not suitable for cases requiring precise Pantone or RAL color matching, parts needing transparent or translucent effects, or SLA/FDM materials where dyeing is difficult. Long-term UV exposure may cause color fading, and darker shades produce more uniform results than lighter ones.
