PMMA

PMMA is a hard and strong resin with a light transmittance of up to 92%, and is one of the resins with the most excellent stability and transmittance. Since it has excellent workability, transmittance, specific gravity, and safety compared to glass, it is mainly used as window glass for aircraft and automobiles, and is also used for optical instruments such as lenses and prisms, light sources for indirect lighting, medical materials (dentures, prosthetic eyes, etc.), and decorations. It has a wide range of uses as spheres, watch glass, lacquer, and adhesives.
