Nickel Plating
An electroplating process that forms a nickel layer on metal surfaces, improving wear and corrosion resistance with a silver-white glossy finish. Suitable for precision parts requiring surface protection while maintaining electrical conductivity. Not suitable for consumer goods with nickel allergy concerns or parts used above 400°C. Plating thickness (5–25µm) causes dimensional change — confirm electroless nickel compatibility for RoHS-regulated products.
