Aluminum Material Finishes
Hard Anodizing
A high-durability anodic oxidation process forming a thicker oxide film (40–70µm) than standard anodizing, providing superior wear and corrosion resistance. Suitable for high-wear or high-load aluminum parts, or functional components such as pistons and sliding parts used in extreme conditions. Not suitable for parts where color appearance is a priority or tight tolerances are required. The thicker film causes greater dimensional change, color is limited to gray tones, and longer processing time affects lead time.
